Anti-Inflammatory Tea for Athletes

Hello and welcome everyone to a Cooking with Fey video! Today we will be making a very simple ginger and turmeric tea to help athletes with inflammation post workout. Before making this video I decided to experiment with this herb combination to see if it really works as well as doctors say it does, and let me tell you, this stuff is amazing!

After a killer workout I always grab a cup of this and it really helps my muscles heal and recover so I can avoid the dreaded DOMS. DOMS stands for delayed onset muscle soreness, and this is the soreness you feel trying to get out of bed in the morning or walk down some stairs after an intense lower body day. All of that muscle soreness or pain is DOMS. Luckily, drinking this ginger and turmeric tea greatly reduces (or even eliminates) that soreness!

P.S. I will be out of town visiting family this weekend, so there will not be a Cooking with Fey video this Sunday. Many apologies, but my parent’s home has terrible cell connection- so uploading a large video file will be impossible. But Tuesday will have another Fey Fitness video like normal.
