Cooking Basics 101: Homemade Baked Salmon

Hello and welcome everyone to another Cooking with Fey video! Today I will show you all how to make baked salmon fillets in the oven.

For this recipe you will need:

  • 1 Salmon fillet (mine in the video is 4 oz.)
  • 1 tsp. of oil
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Optional: 2 cloves of garlic and/or sesame seeds

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425
  2. Place your salmon fillet on some aluminum foil and drizzle with the oil and spices
  3. Wrap your fillet
  4. Cook for 4-6 minutes per 1/2″ of meat thickness
  5. Enjoy!
