Hi and welcome everyone!

This web page was inspired after a four year journey with atrial fibrillation. The first year was the absolute worst- I had been training for my very first marathon when this all started. So, needless to say, my life was completely turned upside down. I went from running 8 miles a day, to wheezing and gasping for breath after walking 60 feet. Running had been my life, and I suddenly found myself with dozens of dietary restrictions and without the activity I loved most in life.

But fret not, in the second year I started trying to reclaim my joy, and began taking a more active interest in my health. The rest, is history!

So I’d like this site to be an outlet for me to share what I’ve learned these past years about living a healthy lifestyle, diet, cooking, and fitness.


*DISCLAIMER* I am not a doctor. But I am a ISSA certified personal trainer who has worked with cardiologists, primary care physicians, naturopaths, massage therapists, chiropractors, and acupuncturists- and I’ve picked their minds at every chance I got.

And I can share with you what worked for me and what you may want to try if you find yourself in a similar position.
